Well, Pokémon has its own festival and in 2024 they will be coming to Spain. Do you feel privileged? Well, you should, because there’s nothing like spending a weekend in Madrid hunting and catching a Pokémon while you choose where to have a beer in the Spanish capital.
Pokémon GO Fest 2024
One of the biggest events of the year in the Pokémon world is coming to the capital from 14 to 16 June and promises to be a great success. A great event for adults, children and entire families who want to have a good time with their favourite video game.
Trainers who want to take part in this adventure will have to go to the Juan Carlos I park, just outside the centre of Madrid, very close to Madrid Barajas Airport.
Why Juan Carlos I Park? Because of its large dimensions and green areas, perfect for all varieties of pokémon to be grazing at ease waiting for their future trainers.
Pokémon GO 2024 Festival Locations
Earlier we said that you should feel very proud and happy to have this event in our city, and no wonder. In this 2024 edition only three cities in the world will host this event.
It is true that you can follow it online and be part of the great community of players, but being able to be there in situ is a unique experience for true fans.
Sendai, Japan
30 May to 2 June 2024
The start of Pokémon Summer begins in Sendai, the colourful Japanese city is known, among other things, for its large green spaces. These will witness the Pokémon GO Days kicking off our world tour.
New York, USA
From 5 to 7 July 2024
After the weekend in Madrid, it’s time to pack our bags again and head to the city that never sleeps; New York. If possible, it’s in NY, so that’s where the last day of the Pokémon GO festival is taking place. But don’t worry, your runs through Central Park won’t be the end of the festival, there’s still more to come.
Everything is ready and organised for Pokémon GO 2024: Global. This event is a sort of closing event to the festival. On the downside, if you’ve been to the festival in person, you’ll miss it a lot, on the upside, tickets, being an online event, won’t sell out, so you can buy them up until the day before the event.
Your adventure in Pokémon GO Fest 2024 Madrid
You organise the adventure to suit you. As a trainer, you can choose to go to the Juan Carlos I Park, either in the morning or in the afternoon, leaving another time for your exploration of the city of Madrid.
Both experiences in the park, morning and afternoon, are the same, so don’t try to do both, because it won’t work. The €32 ticket gives you access to the festival for one day. On that day you will take part in the activity in the centre of Madrid and in the Juan Carlos I park, regardless of the order.
The Madrid experience is an exclusive Pokémon GO Fest activity, so although you’ll be surrounded by lots of people, only a select few will be able to enjoy this still-secret adventure into the Pokémon world.
When you buy your ticket, you will see the day and time your own Pokémon GO Fest adventure will be available. This is another of the great advantages of this world, being something so global does not limit it in being, at the same time, a unique experience for each trainer.
