«I have already been in Madrid a couple of years ago. The truth is that I didn’t get a good impression and it must have been for my company so I decided to revistit it. This time I stayed for a week. The days were grey and rainy. However, I decided to go for a walk from Cat’s Hostel to Puerta de Sol and I took a wrong way. Going down through Atocha street I eventually got to Retiro park. What I liked best was getting lost through the narrow streets of the Neighborhood of the Letters. Picturesque and imposant little part of the city that speaks itself. Every single corner hides its own story.
Long story short. This time I fell for Madrid. It is frowing on me! Even though I still have 170 days to go untill I go back to Argentina from my Euro trip, it will be impossible to forget the very first seven days of my trip spent in Madrid! As I am travelling on my own, Cat’s Hostel’s staff made me feel like home, allowing me to be »part of their family», making me feel as if I already knew them for years. That’s just one of the reasons that made me change my oppinion about Madrid, fall for it and made me want to revisit it as soon as I can!»
