A credit card is needed to arrange a booking, both through the website or at the hostel in person. However, this is only to secure the booking and you can pay with cash at check–in. 

Yes, but only when they come accompanied by an adult and book a private room. If a minor stays in a shared dorm, all the other guests must be their companions.

Check-in usually starts at 2:00 p.m. However, the lovely staff of Cats Hostels will do everything possible to try to check you in earlier, if your room/bed is available.

Normal check-out is until 11:00 a.m. But party animals can check-out as late as 1:00 p.m. for an extra fee of €5 if they pre-arrange it with reception.

Don’t worry, we are open 24 hours! 

However, if you are checking in after 11.00 p.m., we kindly ask you to call us or send us an email and let us know, so we can keep your bed warm & ready! 

Yes, we have a luggage room. You can use it for free before check-in time.

After check-out we ask for €2 payment, but you can leave your bags until midnight. 

We don’t have a private shuttle service to the airport, but we have the contact information of a good company and we can help you book with them!

No, we don’t have this in Madrid. You can keep that money to tip our bartender… 

Would you ever choose between mommy and daddy? Oh, please don´t make us… 

Yes, it is possible if you book in our en suite private rooms, but if you are a professional shower singer, we would LOVE to hear that in one of our shared bathrooms, please. ???????? 

Shared dorms: Linen, WiFi, AC/Heating, personal locker, reading lamp, standard plug and USB plug per bed 

Private rooms: Linen, WiFi, AC/Heating, reading lamp, towels, shower gel and shampoo. 

We can’t assure you 100%, but if you send us a request after your booking, we will try our best to accommodate you in the same room! 

If you are 10 or more people, you can contact our group department for assistance and we will definitely help you to get the room or rooms you need.  

Of course! If you book in a double bedroom…

As for dorms, technically all guests must pay for their own bed. As we can’t really control what happens inside the room, if you want to sleep together and spend the night cuddling… be our guest! We just ask you to be respectful with your roommates! 

Your friends are welcome in all the common areas with public access (reception area, bar, and club). The other areas of the hostel are for Cats guests use only. You need a key to access to these restricted areas, and this key is personal and non-transferable.

Well, you actually serve yourself! It’s a buffet style breakfast… ????  and it is free!

We offer food in our bar from 5:30 p.m. on (pizza, snacks, etc.) and you can find other snacks in our vending machines.

Some days we offer free dinner and host special events, like the paella party day. Check our activities!

Yeees, we do. Don’t expect MasterChef facilities, but enough for that not–so–elaborated-travel-pasta–dish we know you’re going to cook… 

Nothing can stop you from buying alcohol outside the hostel (and we truly encourage you to buy wine as a present for your relatives!), BUT you are not allowed to drink it in the rooms, nor in the common areas. Our bar prices are super cheap though!

Yes! We have self-serve laundry facilities and you can wash and dry for €5. The detergent is included.

Yes! But you will burn more calories using the stairs!! 

Yes, we have computers to use for free in the lounge area!

Do people still print their boarding passes in the smartphone era? ????

Yes, we can print that for you, of course!

We sell shower gel, shampoo and adaptors. We have some branded Cats Hostel merchandise like t-shirts, cups, etc

Yes, you can rent a towel for €3. That means that you have to return it at reception during check-out or when you’re done with it. Some towels magically disappear but remember… karma is watching!

We encourage you to ask our bartender for his/her phone number, Instagram username, the favorite spot in the city, or a kiss if you dare…

We are a party-animal friendly hostel, but we don’t allow pets inside. Sorry about that!
